Excellent Viewpoints

Situated in the South of Mauritius, Le Morne Brabant is a scarcely inhabited place mostly surrounded by hotels. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Le Morne Mountain is a spectacular site of a single peak encapsulating so much Mauritian history. The majestic mountain was where slaves escaped to from their masters. The place offers plenty of excellent hikes and viewpoints over the west coast of the island and over the southern part of the island. You will walk through luscious green vegetation consisting of gigantic endemic trees as well as smaller exotic plants.
